Peter Rabbit and friends are set to join Santa for a new grotto experience at centre:mk – one of the UK’s largest Christmas grottos this year
Christmas this year is most definitely not cancelled! This is the message from centre:mk in Milton Keynes, one of the UK’s top 10 shopping centres only 30 minutes from London, as they confirm that Santa will be visiting this year with the help of some well-known trusted friends.
Santa has asked Peter Rabbit™ and his woodland friends to help him prepare for the big day with visitors to Santa’s Grotto stepping into the wonderful World of Peter Rabbit™ along the way.
This new and exciting, immersive theatrical Christmas adventure is brought to life by actors playing the part of Peter Rabbit™ and his friends. As well as Peter Rabbit™, visitors will meet all of their favourite Beatrix Potter characters such as Squirrel Nutkin, Mr. Tod and even decorate elf biscuits with Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, before meeting Santa himself.
Each family will spend 25 to 30 minutes enjoying the experience, which includes a decorated Christmas Elf biscuit in a gift bag and a lovely quality gift from Santa for each child.
Centre Director, Kevin Duffy, said, “Christmas really is for the children and we wanted to bring something extra special this year to try and make up for what has been a very difficult year for everybody. The team have been planning this for months, scrutinising every aspect to ensure it can be delivered in line with all the Government guidance. We are very lucky to have such a huge event space in Middleton Hall, which with the wide airy malls does make it all a little easier to ensure we can deliver that special festive spirit while making sure everyone can visit with confidence”.
Each booking is limited to five tickets with a maximum of two adults. Please only book tickets to attend with members of your own household or social bubble. Temperature checks, track and trace, and hand sanitisers are available throughout and after each visit the grotto is rigorously cleaned.
The grotto will be open from 13th November to 24th December. For more information visit centremk.com.
