Milton Keynes’ longest running Yoga Studio prepares to reopen

Whitespace Yoga & Wellbeing Studio, Milton Keynes’ number 1 wellbeing provider, has announced it will reopen its doors to the public on Monday 10th August with new safety measures in place.

Located in Stony Stratford, the studio, which is celebrating 10 years in business, had to adapt its offering during the months of lockdown which has highlighted more than ever the importance of focusing on our health and wellbeing. When the studio was forced to close, they continued to offer students the ability to stay active during the difficult time with live and on-demand online classes.

The team have been working hard to adapt the studio to ensure students, teachers and the greater community remain healthy and feel they have a safe space to come back to. This includes a reduced class timetable with smaller class sizes, intensified cleaning protocols, maintaining a social distance and having a contactless check-in.

Deborah Berryman, Yoga Teacher and Founder of Whitespace Studio, comments: “The temporary closure of our studio has been the toughest challenge our community has seen in 10 years, but the support and encouragement from our students has been amazing. We cannot wait to celebrate the moment the first students walk through our doors but are taking precautions and starting slowly as everyone safety is our top priority.

“Our online classes will also continue for those not ready or able to return to the studio just yet.”

Through Yoga, Mindfulness and Pilates, Whitespace Studio has helped to improve the health and wellbeing of over 10,000 residents in Milton Keynes over the last 10 years and continues to do so with a variety of classes each week to suit all ages and abilities.

The beautiful, light-filled studios are the perfect place to escape the daily stresses and outside noises, melt into your yoga mat and let your practice help you relax and feel healthier.
