Tyre Talk Column: True love never tyres!

Ray Pantling, owner of Tyres Direct, has hand-crafted some lovely new jewellery for you for Valentine’s Day using recycled tyre rubber…

It’s Febuary, which means that Valentine’s Day is fast approaching on the 14th.

Valentine’s Day is an international festival that celebrates the feeling of love and marks the death anniversary of a Christian legend, Saint Valentine. It is a day made for lovers.

Symbols of Valentine’s Day are heart shapes, roses, and Cupid with his bow. Flowers play a very important role on Valentine’s Day, but maybe something different from flowers could make a romantic change as a gift this year?

So boys, why not get her something unique and bespoke? My hand-crafted earrings, which I have made myself from 100% unwanted tyre rubber ready for the scrap heap, would make the perfect present.

All products are totally cleaned and the earring hooks are nickel free (see photo 1). And ladies, why not treat your man to a wrist bracelet for the big day, which is handcrafted from recycled tyre rubber (see photo 2)?

No two bracelets are identical and he will have that special one-off made-tomeasure design. Everyone likes a little gift for Valentine’s and, at Tyres Direct, as well as tyres we have that perfect gift for you and your partner!

Pop in to see us at Unit 51, Barton Road, Bletchley or have a look at our full range of hand-crafted tyre jewellery and accessories online (see photos 3 and 4 as examples).
