My Chemical Romance have announced a third and final show at stadium mk, adding to their two original sold out shows in Milton Keynes.
The new show will take place on June 18th, making it the first to chronologically take place as part of the band’s MK residency. This show is one of several to be announced, along with additional shows in Ireland, Italy, Germany and Russia as part of the band’s reunion tour.
The new Milton Keynes date will be the final one added, with the three shows forming the band’s first UK shows in 9 years.
Tickets to the new date go on sale on Thursday (30/01) at 9:30am from the usual vendors. The announcement comes after previously announced shows at the MK Dons stadium for June 20th and 21st both sold out within an hour of going on sale.
The shows are taking part as part of the band’s reunion tour, with the band announcing last year they were reuniting. The band are also speculated to be releasing a new album to coincide with their return to the live stage, which will be their first since releasing 4th album Danger Days in 2010.
The show’s addition means that for the second consecutive year, there will be 3 concerts at the stadium mk venue, after Take That, Rod Stewart and Rammstein performed at the venue in 2019. However, this is the first time the outdoor venue will play host to multiple shows by the same artist.
