It can always be difficult to shop for men at Christmas, so here are some tips from local fashion blogger Danie-Jade.
December is here, which means it’s less than a month until Christmas! If you didn’t start your Christmas shopping last month then take this as your polite demand to start!
I’ve already bought my Christmas wrapping paper and a couple of presents so I’m full steam ahead on the prepared front now.
In our last issue, I shared with you my top three presents you can buy for any lady in your life. But if you thought shopping for girls was difficult then you definitely haven’t tried shopping for a male!
Gift Set – Gift sets are a nice easy present that tailor to hair, grooming and aftershave preferences. With a variety available at stores such as Superdrug and Boots, there is a set to suit anyone.
Prices range from as little as £4 to £30, but you don’t need to spend a great deal. This Nivea Men’s Protect & Groom Gift Set is only £20 and would make a nice Christmas set for a nephew or son who is just starting to shave!
Clothing – I don’t know if it’s just my family or whether other families do this as well, but we always gift clothing for Christmas. From t-shirts, hoodies and even pants, you can never have too many clothes.
My brother is a big fan of Marvel and all things superhero, so buying slogan or printed t-shirts are a go to for me. Next often have some lovely men’s clothing and if in doubt you could always buy them a Christmas jumper!
Experience Vouchers – Depending on your budget, there are some great experience days you can buy from Red Letter Days. Driving sports cars, dinner for two at celebrity restaurants and even beer tasting sessions.
These gift experiences vary from little as £25 up to hundreds of pounds depending on the experience and person you’re buying for. But these make a nice alternative to a pair of socks or shopping gift card.
