Alpha Club members took their party spirit to new heights while celebrating the achievements of competitors in an annual Alps challenge.
More than 4,000 runners, hikers, walkers and crawlers took part in the 34th Le Belier event in the stunning surroundings of La Clusaz in the French Alps, with Alpha Club members among them.
As an official partner of the organisers of the race series, Alpha Club sponsored an outdoor prize-giving stage in the main square in La Clusaz, which doubled up as a spectacular concert venue for the evening featuring Alpha Stars Ben Haenow and guest singers Lauren Samuels and Ben Forster.
‘The Square was packed with people from all over the world who were in La Clusaz for the racing events and stayed to party in true Alpha-style,’ said Alpha Club Director Angus Dudgeon.
A total of 67 Alpha Club members and guests travelled to the French Alps with a third of them taking part in one of the challenging series of hikes or races over the three days.
With members opting for a mixture of private jets, business and economy travel, the bespoke itinerary met everyone’s needs.
‘This is an ideal weekend for a company or group team-building exercise, as well as just being a fabulous weekend in the stunning scenery of the French Alps,’ added Angus
‘While many of our members opted for the 5-Star standards they are used to, we also catered for those who were more interested in using the event for team-building or fund-raising.’
Alpha Club has been running Alpha in the Alps for 19 years and has raised more than £360,000 for a variety of charities across the UK. As well as the competitive hikes and runs, members were able to sign up to a host of activities over the weekend from white water rafting, canyoning and parascending – or merely opt for a more sedate weekend and soak up the atmosphere amid the picturesque backdrop.
‘This was yet another truly breath-taking Alpha Club weekend, demonstrating that we really can appeal to all,’ added Angus and ‘in partnering with La Dolce Vita, we had a party like no other’.
