Aqua Parcs host unique networking event

Dozens of business professionals from around MK changed their work suit for a wetsuit this week at the wackiest, wettest networking event for miles around.

We Are Creative (WAC) agency chose Aqua Parcs at Willen Lake as the venue for its most recent networking event on Tuesday 13 August, with attendees saying it was the most fun they’ve ever had at ‘work’.

Taking place in collaboration with domain registration company Safenames, the networking event doubled up as a fundraiser for Willen Hospice, with £750 being donated on the night.

The ambitious networkers from companies in and around MK took on the floating inflatable assault course complete with climbing ladders, slides, and challenges galore. This was followed by homemade lemonade, hot dogs, and loads of fun – plus they got to meet new people, widen their networks and enjoy a sunset evening at Willen Lake.

Joe Grix, co-owner of the park, said: “You might not think of Aqua Parcs for a networking event, but this was a brilliant idea! The assault course really broke the ice and got people talking, and the feedback was incredible. Plus, it was brilliant to see money being raised for a very important cause that’s close to home for everyone in MK too. I can see us holding a lot more networking events in the future.”

Steven Dryden-Hall, Marketing Manager at WAC said: “The thinking behind these networking events is to create a setting for entrepreneurs in MK to meet in a unique environment, drop all barriers, relax and have fun. Ultimately, we’re creating a place for people to reach out, network and help them to reach their goals.”

Aqua Parcs is open seven days a week until September. For more information or to book, visit
