Local projects are invited to apply for funds by Friday 8th March 2019.

Local charities, schools, community projects and good causes in Milton Keynes could receive a share of £5,000 thanks to CALA Homes’ 2019 Community Bursary.
The programme was launched in the area for the first time on Monday 11th February. The initiative, which is now in its third year, aims to provide support for a wide range of organisations and projects within the communities in which CALA builds.
Since its launch, over 200 good causes across the country have received a share of more than £200,000.
Mark Wright, Managing Director at CALA Homes (Midlands), said: “We’re thrilled to be launching our Community Bursary in Milton Keynes for the first time, and are looking forward to hearing from local charities, schools, community projects and good causes in the area and finding out about the great work being done.
“CALA has always been committed to making a positive and lasting contribution to local communities through an active programme of local charity donations, community support and sponsorship, and the Community Bursary scheme gives us the chance to find out exactly what support is needed locally.
“What’s more, it provides an opportunity for charities and groups of all sizes to apply for funds, and we look forward to hearing more about how we can get involved.”
You can apply for a share of the community bursary by downloading an application form from the CALA website (www.cala.co.uk/bursary). Application forms are also available to pick up from CALA Homes’ development, CALA at Whitehouse, located on Barrosa Way off Watling Street.
The closing deadline for entries is Friday, 8th March 2019. For further information on the CALA Homes Community Bursary visit http://www.cala.co.uk/bursary.
