Catch Oliver from noon with a local studio guest and the MKFM rewind.
Oliver will be known to many for presenting the MKFM Breakfast Show during the station’s early days.
During the last couple of years, Oliver has been heard at weekends whilst he’s been busy setting up his own digital marketing business, MK21, and working with Milton Keynes Council on their MK futures project.
His new show, which starts at noon, features a local guest each day and an hour of classic tunes from 1pm.
Speaking about his new show, Oliver said: “It’s great to play a bigger part in MKFM again and I am really looking forward to interviewing people from across Milton Keynes.
“Over the course of each month, I will be interviewing our local MPs, councillors and the mayor. The hour will also feature charities we support like the Milton Keynes Hospital Charity, Willen Hospice, The Food bank and many more.”
Something that MKFM is renowned for is its support for local businesses and the community. MKFM’s daily interviews will include legal advice from some of Milton Keynes’ finest solicitors.
There’s also regular sessions with Trading Standards and the radio station’s Principal Partners such as the MK Community Foundation, who also do so much to support charities and not-for-profit organisations in MK.
If you have a business or are involved in a community project or charity and would like to feature on the show, you can email MKFM via firstname.lastname@example.org with an overview of what you would like to discuss.
Most of the interviews are available as podcasts on the website MKFM.com.
The second part of Oliver’s show is the MKFM Rewind, where he plays one hour of great music from a certain year.
Spanning music from the late 90s to now, the rewind is certain to bring back some great memories. As well as great music, Oliver looks back at some of the biggest events and news stories from that year.
Tune into 103.6FM where Oliver is Playing All The Hits with a special guest interview each weekday from 12pm and The MKFM Rewind from 1pm.
