Show Stoppers Column: Get ready for Peter Pan Panto

Arts Correspondent Nancy Stevens previews Peter Pan Panto at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and and Robin Hood at MK Theatre…

I had a wonderful time at the PETER PAN PANTO press day held at Go Ape in Wendover by Aylesbury Waterside Theatre.

I chatted to the four stars: John Michie (Captain Hook) of Coronation Street and Taggart (we discovered a mutual love of Africa and why he loves playing the baddie!); Andy Collins (Smee) BBC Three-Counties Presenter and one of the country’s most successful warm-up acts; the irrepressible BGT’s La Voix and Nickelodeon’s Holly Atterton (Tinker Bell).

I had much fun frolicking in the woods with the cast, but decided that zip-wiring in heels wasn’t a good idea!

We talked about the show, as the audience meets the Lost Boys, Tiger Lily and Tinker Bell in a family show full of fun, fairy dust and pirates galore.

Set sail for Neverland, take on Captain Hook, and prepare for out-of-this-world flying effects, galleons of laughter, and the hungriest of crocodiles!

Suitable for darlings of all ages. ‘Hook’ your tickets now at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre (7-31 December), for this year’s swashbuckling adventure!

Join the most heroic outlaw of them all, as the arrowshooting hero ROBIN HOOD strives to win the hand of the beautiful Maid Marion, while he and his trusty band of Merry Men outwit the evil Sheriff of Nottingham at Milton Keynes Theatre from 8 December to 13 January.

Starring national treasure Shane Richie (EastEnders, Benidorm and others), here to liven things up a bit.

So you might get a bit of Aladdin or Peter Pan thrown into Sherwood Forest. You might even find him in the audience with you!

Also starring West End star Gina Murray and actor Peter Piper. Brought to you by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s biggest pantomime producer, Robin Hood has all the ingredients of a perfect panto.

Book your tickets now for the sheriff-busting, tights-wearing, hog-roasting pantomime extravaganza at
