Unbeaten MK middleweight Connor Wright wins again with Frank Bruno in his corner – and he’s targetting another big victory in July.
Milton Keynes boxer Connor Wright secured an impressive third successive win as a pro – and has now set his sights on a fourth on July 29 as he moves closer to a title shot.
The 21-year-old middleweight – who works as an estate agent at Cauldwell Property Services by day – demolished opponent Miguel Aguilar on his most recent fight night.
The victory was all the more special as Connor was walked into the ring at Bedford Corn Exchange by his friend and former world heavyweight champion Frank Bruno, while being cheered on by more than 200 supporters from MK.
Unbeaten Connor floored Aguilar in the fourth round on his way to another richly deserved points victory.
It was the 6ft 3inch southpaw’s first win since switching coach from his dad Tony – who was ringside cheering on ‘The Ginger One’ – to his new coach Sab Leo.
Connor is now looking to take his record to 4–0 by triumphing in his next fight on July 29 at Bedford Corn Exchange, en route to a possible title bout in December.
Connor, who is sponsored by Cauldwell Property Services, City Gas MK and Signature Homes, said: “Milton Keynes is going to take over Bedford on July 29.
“I appreciate all the support as I’m just a lad from Bletchley looking to make something from nothing. Please come along if you can!”
