Rush hair salon hosts first Ladies Indulgence Evening

Rush hair salon at Intu Milton Keynes has held its first “Ladies Indulgence Evening”, which took place on the 31st of May, writes Simrann Paul.

The modern salon was decorated extensively for the occasion, with it’s already monochrome interior with faux pink orchids and deep purple lilies perched on every worktop.

As part of the evening, companies such as The White Company, Hotel Chocolat, Dior and Mac were all on hand to ensure a pamper filled evening.

Located on the upper floor of the salon, The White Company were offering complementary hand massages, which in itself provided a divine start to a relaxed evening.

Glasses of bubbly were pouring freely amongst the fun and elevated atmosphere that was generating around the clients.

Dior were testing clients skin colours on a device offering samples of their new Forever Undercover Foundation, while an employee of Hotel Cholocate offered samples of their boozy chocolate liqueur which was the best indulgent treat.

Manager of the salon Demitri Jones was the welcoming host, oozing confidence and passion for the salon and for the event itself.

He said, “The evening is all about getting businesses together and showcasing their talents, we wanted to create something luxurious but still have a relatable feel to it.”

The salon itself offer an assortment of treatments, including Brazilian Blow Drys, Nano Keratin Smoothing Treatments and good old fashioned Cut and Blow Drys.

Demitri also said “We want the salon to have an open atmosphere as everyone is welcome and we will ensure they have the best experience possible at Rush.”

As part of the event, Mac Makeup artist Dizney Trower and her co worker were on hand to transform the clients with her stunning make up skills.

Having worked at Mac for a while, Dizney said “I love my job so much, I used to work in Kiko in the centre of Milton Keynes and one day two employees of Mac came and asked if I wanted an interview for a job there! I couldn’t believe they found me instead of the other way round!”

Dizney’s talent is effortless and it is clear she holds pride in each look she creates.

She added, “I love learning about people too, in this job you meet so many new people it’s really interesting. Everyday it’s something new, I started off being trained now I go around the country and train Mac employees who are just starting out.”

The evening was a definite success with the salon flowing of people arriving to explore the many services on offer.
