There are a host of mouth-watering food events to attend locally in May, including the legendary White Hart Sausage & Beer Festival from 4th to 7th May in Sherington.
Now into its 19th year, the event promises plenty of live music, real ale and cider and a selection of food vendors over the four days.
Elsewhere, fans of street food can enjoy hot food from Eat Street MK from 5pm at York House on 4th May.
The Craufurd Arms plays host to a Streetfood Session from lunchtime on Sunday 13th May and then again for an all vegan version on 27th May.
Food Truck Friday will be at Market Hill in Newport Pagnell on the evening of 18th May.
The evening of 13th May sees the great and the good of the local food and hospitality industry being recognised with the Milton Keynes Food and Leisure Awards.
Then on the late May Bank Holiday weekend, MK11 is teaming up with local vendors and producers to bring you the first MK11 Beer & Street Food Festival. Entry is free all weekend and you can enjoy live music and televised sports too.
Food courses to consider this month include the Junior Bakers’ American Style Cookies lesson on 5th May from 10am until 2pm. And adults can enjoy a Demo and Dine Class from 6pm until 9pm on 15th May.
This course includes a demo of how to make ice-cream and sorbets, followed by a 2-course dinner in the brasserie restaurant. Both courses are at the Claire Clark Academy in Bletchley.
