GM Events Column: A dramatic turn of events for Evoke

Gem Media’s Gemma Burnikell explains her new drama school project.

I’m working with Evoke MK to boost the confidence of 7-18 year olds with the launch of Evoke Stars drama school.

Evoke is a Lifestyle and Wellbeing business owned by Amy Thurley, carefully designed through tanning, fitness and beauty packages to make you feel better mentally and physically.

My company Gem Media MK Ltd has been working with Evoke on the re-brand of the business, bringing it to life through reflection and storytelling, which is when the concept of Evoke Stars was born.

Evoke Stars will be run by Evoke Fitness’s client Anna Varty, who has lost a whopping 28 inches from her body thanks to Amy’s impressive personal training and meal plans.

Together Amy and Anna will develop the younger generation and their mental wellbeing by offering drama classes.

Evoke Stars drama school will train students in all aspects of acting through both group and individual work.

Classes will develop both confidence and encourage positive social interaction.

Students will take part in an end of year presentation and exams from awarding body LAMDA. To celebrate, all 7-18 year olds are invited to a FREE Drama and Performing Arts taster session on Wednesday 4th April, 11am to 4pm at York House, Stony Stratford.

Email Amy Thurley at evokemk@gmail.com or see evokemk.co.uk for upcoming sessions and timetables.
