After ten years success in Northampton, The Business Club Northants is bringing its different style of networking to Buckinghamshire.
Meeting twice a month at the Novotel Hotel in Milton Keynes, members are really enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of the network evening and the opportunities to create new business through The Business Club Bucks.
There’s no surprise that this new network is gathering interest and is already off to a flying start. Built on a ‘double award winning formula’ the network has won best network (two years in a row) at the SME Awards in Northampton. It was after this ongoing success that Managing Director Mike Willis decided to bring the network to Buckinghamshire.
Willis said, “We have found that people are much more relaxed in the evening and therefore our meetings have a nice social feel to them, and yet are very professional.
“Visitors are not losing any of their working day and everyone has a smile on their face, which always makes it much easier for people to engage with each other”.
This different style of networking is proving a great success with members and guests. Its refreshing approach is a hit with local businesses who are already stating they are seeing real benefits of the group.
Pete Reynolds of Libra7 Fleet Services joined The Business Club Bucks in October 2017 following its launch, and was full of praise for the group.
He said, “I thoroughly enjoy going to The Business Club Bucks, it’s a great group full of diverse and talented business people. I’ve regularly attended the meetings since the start and enjoy the social aspect it provides too and have met a new circle of like-minded business owners in an open forum and friendly environment, it’s great for business!”
The move to Bucks has been supported by a group of local businesses who are proud to put their name to this new network including; Crispin Rhodes, CCS IT Solutions, Stanair and DBFB.
Angela Rhodes of Crispin Rhodes explains why she decided to support the network saying, “I think the informal format of holding the network in the evening over dinner is a fantastic idea, and a really refreshing approach.
“In the short time the network has been going, I’ve been delighted to meet lots of new faces and pass business between members. It is growing organically, with more members joining every week, which is exciting for business, as we all get to know each other!”
It’s not just a network, The Business Club Bucks also offer quality training, mentoring and talks from expert guest speakers as part of its membership. The format is simple; two meetings per month, a two course meal, networking opportunities and a relaxed business atmosphere. The added value is there are no hidden fees. The Business Club Bucks’ members are already turning the connections into business success.
Their new website will be live in February, in the meantime you can book onto an event by searching “The Business Club Bucks” on Eventbrite, Facebook, Linked in and/or Twitter.
