MKFM have got your Friday nights sorted with the award-winning DJ Hurley taking over the decks from 7pm-9pm for Friday Night In The Mix, playing old skool anthems and all the latest hits.
Since joining the MKFM team, Keith Hurley has been producing many of the mixes heard on the station.
He said: “I’m so excited to be back behind the decks, mixing some great new music and old skool anthems on MKFM.
“I love music that makes people want to dance and Friday Night In The Mix gives me the opportunity to share that passion with even more people across Milton Keynes!
“Things all kicked off for me in the 1989 DMC UK DJ Championships, finishing in second place at just 15 years old. The same year, whilst still doing my exams at school, I landed the job of Lighting Operator at ‘The Club at The Point’ in MK which enabled me to refine my DJ skills as warm-up DJ every night.”
He went on: “The ravers of MK will know me best as Roughcut, DJing at raves and warehouse parties during the early 90s and when I was producing music. It was during this period that many of the up-and-coming city based hip-hop artists and groups used my studio to record their demos.
“More recently, local clubbers will hopefully remember me as Keith Hurley from Sensoria, the award-winning House and Trance night held at Bar Central, where I won the award for MK Citizen Club DJ of the Year in 2003.”
So whether you’re getting ready to hit one of the city’s nightspots, driving in your car, just chilling at home with friends and family or working a late shift, MKFM will get you ramped up for the weekend.
