Meet the Wrapchics who are hooked on intu’s burrito shop

Amelia Henchliffe, pictured on the right of the photo, explains how Wrapchic has turned her and her friends into healthy burrito addicts since its arrival in Milton Keynes last year.

Hi my name is Amelia and I am an addict – a burrito addict.

The ever-growing ‘fusion food’ craze has made its way to Milton Keynes via Wrapchic at intu MK, and it has taken hold of foodies like me and my pals Ellie (pictured on the left) and Annie (centre).

Wrapchic fuses healthy Indian and Mexican food to create delicious recipes such as Wrapchos and Curry Pots.

The brand’s vision to become ‘the most loved burrito company in the world’ is proving successful as it’s an up-and-coming business with shops across the country.

It’s fair to say that I’m a regular customer as I visit on pretty much every lunch break from University of Bedfordshire’s MK campus, where I’m studying journalism.

One of my favourite dishes is the Paneer Masala Burrito (pictured below).

Paneer Masala

This is an Indian soft cheese coated in a tava spice, served with tikka sauce.

The spices used within the sauce create a moreish flavour that keeps me coming back again and again.

Once I even had it three times in one day!

The staff are extremely friendly and informative when picking your chosen filling for the dish.

Also, the service is very fast, which does not affect the quality of the product.

Many of the dishes are suitable for vegetarians (including the Paneer Masala), making them accessible for all tastes and preferences.

The shop at intu also does a breakfast menu that includes dishes such as Quesadillas and Wraplettes, which are breakfast wraps with eggs and your choice of filling.

Additionally, the ‘tailored for you’ vibe the company has created means that even the pickiest person – such as myself – will always be satisfied.

With the tasty spicy chicken wings, Wrapchips or Wraposas it is impossible for you not to find a delicious dish to satisfy your Indian/Mexican cravings.

Even while writing this I am craving a burrito!

I have already recommended Wrapchic to all my friends and family so if you are looking for a cheap, fast and friendly option when deciding what to eat on your lunch break, you know where to go!

Ellie’s Wrapchic pick: 

The Wrapchos are a combination of a mouthwatering wrap filling and crunchy nachos. I have them every time and my preferred filling is the Chicken Mughlai – a chicken tikka sauce with jalapenos.

Annie’s Wrapchic pick:

The Bowl is a tasty recipe of your chosen wrap filling, mine being Chicken Rajasthani, which is a mint and coriander chicken served with mint chutney. I have it on a bed of rice as
it creates an authenic curry.
